I don’t know whether I should laugh or cry about Costa Rica’s latest piece of legislation which could legalize marriage for all couples regardless of sexual orientation and which has received approval votes by all conservative members of parliament.
The only “problem” with that is that the conservative MPs did not read the latest draft properly before voting in favour and now realised that they approved something they would like to reject.
The questions are whether this fine piece of legislation will be upheld and whether someone can manage to draw a connection between gay rights & the gay agenda and the lack of basic literacy skills in the conservative fraction.
But I have some good advice for Costa Rica especially for the Conservatives: please sort out your problems in the educational sector before denying some of your citizens their birth right.
Other than that: why exactly are people who can’t even read properly allowed to govern a country?
